"What Can Namitha Chacko Bring to the Table as Our New Marketing Assistant?"

We’re thrilled to introduce another rising star to our team at 1830 Crew! Namitha Chacko has joined us as our new Marketing Assistant, and we couldn’t be more excited about the unique energy and experience she brings with her.

 

A Performer Turned Marketer

Namitha started her placement year as part of her BSc in International Business and Management course at Aston University. Her journey as a creative began at the young age of 4 as a performer in dance, music, and public speaking, showcasing her talents and passion for performance arts. Over time, these experiences fueled her desire to excel in the world of marketing, where she could channel her artistic flair into shaping brand narratives.

Namitha’s academic path started with a focus on commerce in higher secondary school, followed by her current studies, allowing her to build a strong foundation in business principles. As she continued her education, her interest in marketing grew, leading her to explore various roles that would further develop her skill set.


Experience Across Diverse Sectors

Namitha’s professional experience is nothing short of impressive. She has worked across multiple industries, gaining exposure to HR, customer service, and marketing through a variety of part-time roles during her university journey. From serving as a Student Ambassador and Mentor at Aston University, to working as Floor Support at Albert's Schloss, and representing GSK as a Brand Ambassador with Oncampus Promotions, Namitha’s career has been marked by versatility and dedication.


Notably, she held the role - Head of HR at Enactus Aston, which provided her with invaluable insights into leadership and team dynamics. Her hands-on experience across these sectors ultimately led her to discover her true passion for marketing, a field where her creativity and business acumen converge.


A Passion for Performance and Marketing

Namitha’s talents don’t stop at the workplace. Her love for the performing arts continues to shine, as evidenced by her win at the Aston’s Got Talent competition hosted at Aston University. Her victory was not the end of her involvement with the event, she returned the following year as a judge, a testament to her influence and growing reputation within the university’s creative community.


A Vision for the Future

Namitha is driven by ambitious goals for her future. She dreams of becoming a Director of Marketing, where she can lead innovative campaigns and shape the future of brand storytelling. But her aspirations don’t stop there, Namitha also envisions opening a dance school to promote Indian culture and heritage across the country, combining her passions for both marketing and the arts. At 1830, we take pride in nurturing future leaders and are committed to supporting Namitha on this journey. We pledge to help her launch her business while she continues to grow with us.


Looking Ahead

With her diverse experiences in HR, customer service, and marketing, as well as her passion for performance, Namitha is set to bring a dynamic blend of creative energy to her role at 1830 Crew. We’re excited to see her flourish as part of our team and look forward to the fresh, innovative ideas she’ll contribute to our marketing efforts.
